1、 Overview
The DDS1791 single-phase electronic energy meter adopts the single-phase energy metering chip ADE7755 from ADI in the United States and advanced SMT and wave soldering processes. It is a new type of instrument designed and manufactured according to the actual electricity consumption of users. All technical indicators of this instrument comply with the requirements of GB/T17215.321-2008 Static AC Active Energy Meter and IEC62053-21 international standard.
2、 Function and Features
1. It has the function of bidirectional measurement of active energy, with LCD display or meter displaying the total amount of electricity;
2Equipped with infrared communication andRS-485 communication interface (optional), which allows for remote and convenient meter reading and switching management of electric energy meters;
3. Can set or retrieve parameters such as total power consumption, instrument constant, meter address, meter password, etc;
4. The CPU chip has a watchdog system inside, which makes data more secure and reliable, and data during power outages can be stored for a long time (continuous power outages can be stored for more than 10 years);
5. The isolated power supplies provide reliable working power for the CPU, metering section, and RS485 interface.
6. Communication protocol
According to the "Multi function watt hour meter communication protocol" DL/T 645-2007 Chinese power industry standard.

3. Start up
Under the conditions of reference voltage, reference frequency, and COS φ=1.0, the instrument should be able to continuously measure electricity with a load current of 0.004Ib (level 1) or 0.005Ib (level 2).
4. Stealth
When the voltage circuit is applied with 115% of the rated voltage and there is no current in the current circuit, the test output of the instrument should not generate more than one pulse within the specified time.
